Craddock's Electrical
Content Plan — Aug · Sep · Oct 2026

A quarter of social content built around what Middle Tennessee homeowners are actually dealing with each month — heat and back-to-school load in August, storm season in September, winter and holiday safety in October.

Action needed: link the Instagram account

Right now the Craddock's Instagram account isn't linked to your Facebook Page and Business Portfolio in Meta Business Suite. Until it is, we have no way to reach it — everything we publish goes to Facebook only, and Instagram sits idle.

This has to be done on your side. We already have access to your Meta Business Suite, but we can't create the Instagram connection for you — linking the account requires signing in with its own password, which only your team should hold.

What to do

  1. Find the Instagram login. Username and password for the Craddock's account. This is usually the real hold-up — if nobody knows it, start a password reset first, since that can take a few days.
  2. Open Meta Business Suite at business.facebook.com, signed in as an admin.
  3. Go to Settings, then Accounts, then Instagram accounts, and connect the account. Sign in with the Instagram credentials when prompted.
  4. Link it to the Craddock's Facebook Page when it offers. That connection is what matters.

That's the whole job. Because we already have access to your Business Suite, our permissions should carry over to Instagram automatically once it's linked to the Page — there shouldn't be anything else for you to grant us.

We'll confirm on our end as soon as you've done it. In the rare case it doesn't come through, it's a single permission toggle and we'll tell you exactly where to click.

Once it's connected, every video in this plan starts reaching Instagram too, at no additional cost.

September leans heavily on customer reviews by design. It's the month generator and surge-protection interest peaks in Middle Tennessee, and proof from real customers lands hardest when someone already has the problem on their mind.

All three months hold the same pace — roughly 10 to 11 pieces a week. That consistency is deliberate. Reach on these platforms compounds when posting is steady and decays when it isn't, so a strong August followed by a quiet fall would give back the ground July and August gained.

What we learned in July

July's content reached 2,353 people and earned 3,356 video views across 15 posts — entirely organic, with zero ad spend.

The clearest finding: explaining a problem beat promoting a service. The top post of the month explained what the different smoke detector chirps mean, and it outperformed every direct "call us for this service" post by a wide margin.

So the mix is weighted accordingly — roughly half of everything we publish explains a problem a homeowner is already noticing, a quarter is seasonal safety, and only about one post in ten is a straight ask. Counterintuitively, that's what drives the calls.

Video from your electricians 10 pending

This is the highest-value content in the entire plan, and it's the one part we can't produce without you.

Real technicians on real jobs outperform everything else. A photo of an old, overcrowded panel next to the finished install is the single best-performing image in this trade — nothing we can produce competes with it.

We're asking for 10 clips from the field across August and September, and for the crew to keep sending them through October. Your techs only need to capture and send; we handle all editing, branding, captions, and posting.

This one has a deadline attached

September's customer-proof content is already covered. October's is not — it depends entirely on new footage coming in from the field.

If clips stop arriving, we'll build October's proof content from your written reviews instead so the month stays full. But footage of your own techs on real jobs will always outperform a quote on a card, so it's worth a nudge to the crew.

What to tell the crew

  1. Hold the phone upright. Vertical video only — this matters more than anything else on the list.
  2. Ten to twenty seconds is plenty. Short clips cut together better than long ones.
  3. Shoot before, during, and after on any job worth showing. The before-and-after pair is the money shot.
  4. Say what you're doing in one plain sentence while filming, so we know what we're looking at.
  5. Ask the customer first before filming inside a home, and keep faces, house numbers, and mail out of frame.
  6. Send it the same day to one place, so clips don't get buried in a camera roll.

Best jobs to capture

Panel upgrades, generator installs, EV charger installs, and storm damage repairs. Anything visually dramatic is worth stopping for — a scorched breaker, a melted outlet, a rat's nest of old wiring. Well-lit and steady beats well-composed every time.

What's included

Posting runs on a flexible cadence rather than fixed dates — content is delivered as a ready batch and published as it fits the week, so we can react to weather and jump on anything timely.

Not included in this engagement

Website updates and hosting, SEO and search work, blog writing, Google Business Profile management, paid advertising and ad spend, and on-site video shoots. The Google Business Profile listing cleanup we flagged in July sits outside this scope and is with your team.
